1. Question
Read the passage carefully and answer the questions that PASSAGE I
The grave danger that alcohol abuses pose to human health and wellbeing has again been highlighted, by the World Health Organization (WHO) which recently disclosed that abuse of the substance causes nearly four percent more deaths than the dreaded Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome (AIDS) and tuberculosis worldwide. The global body put the number of deaths from alcohol abuse, every year, at 2.5 million. Rising incomes were identified to have triggered more drinking in Africa and Asia while binge drinking is a problem in many developed countries. The organization decried the failure of most governments to institute strong alcohol control policies in spite of its heavy toll on society from road accidents, violence, disease, child neglect, and absenteeism at work. The WHO alert on alcohol abuse is timely. The organization's call for prioritization of alcohol control policies has come at a time when governments all over the world need information and support to reduce alcohol consumption.

6. Question
Read the passage below and answer the question that follows
Life to the me the greatest of all game. The danger lies in treating it as a trivial game, a game to be taken lightly, and a game in which the rules do not matter much. The rules matter a great deal. The game has to be played fairly or it is no game at all. Also, to win the game is not the chief end, but to win it honorably and splendidly. To this chief end, several things are necessary, including discipline, unselfishness, courage, optimism and chivalry.
To succeed as a leader, one should possess qualities that are not common in ordinary mortals. Personal intelligence and flexibility are vital for anyone to succeed as a leader. Leadership entails a willingness to admit defeat when necessary and to perform superhuman feat when faced with unusual challenges. A good leader must be able to persevere in the face of insurmountable odds. Determination is another important part of business success. In trouble, danger and disappointment, never give up hope as the worst can always be got over.
You often have to hide from your followers, not the truth of a dismal situation, but your feelings about such truth. You may know that the facts are dead against you, but you must not say it to your followers. If you are a real leader, a fellow that others follow, look up to, you have got to keep going no matter the odds.6. Why does the writer liken life to a game?
